Karnataka common entrance test

The Karnataka exams authority conducts this exam. There is no other authority that is responsible for any process, be it entry or application. It is a state-level entrance exam, so the entries are given only in the colleges that are present in the state of Karnataka. The mode of application is online, whereas the mode of exam is offline. The duration of the exam is 210 minutes, given there are three sections, which means 70 minutes for every section.

Admit card

 The aspirant must carry their admit card to the exam center to give the exam. In the absence of admit card, the aspirant will not be allowed to give an entrance test.

 The aspirant can download their admit card from the official website by entering their application number and date of birth.

 

  • The admit card will have various details of the aspirant, including their name, roll number, address of the exam center, the date of exam, and different such related information.

 

  • The admit card is not a minor key to the exam, but the aspirant must preserve it till the counseling. 

 

The exam centers

 

This exam will get conducted at 54 different locations, which are spread all over Karnataka. It got informed above that the exam would also get conducted in the language of Kannada; the exam center for this exam is only Bangalore.

 

The exam pattern

The entrance will get conducted in the mode of offline, and the questions will get asked in the objective. The total number of questions is 60 from each section. Every correct answer will have one mark; there will be no negative marking for wrong answers. The aspirant should use this opportunity of no negative marking in their favor and try to attempt every question.

Results will be announced online on their official website. To check the results, the aspirant will have to enter the credentials like application number and date of birth. The tentative dates for results are last week of May.
